2 mar 2017 · Quick summary: The Carbony is within tolerances for me (doesn't strike me as difficult to play because of demanding air requirements), but it's not the most efficient whistle in my collection. Method: I just ran through my Carbony, MK, Chieftain V3, Burke, and Goldie whistles.

I recommend you try one, use it for your practice, and then think about a high end one if you need it later. I could see doing so for aesthetic reasons, if you're not a fan of the pvc pipe look, or the static electricity issue, or the shape of the beak being too short to hold it the way you'd prefer...
19 sty 2024 · I’ve looked at a couple of online comparisons on youtube/facebook, but I do find a lot of the whistles a little too breathy/leaky for my liking. I am looking for a whistle made out of brass/aluminium (no carbony).
