9 wrz 2024 · Ovarian cysts can range from as small as a pea to larger than an orange. Generally, cysts less than 5 cm (about 2 inches) in diameter are considered normal and do not generally require treatment. However, suppose the cyst grows larger than 5 cm.

For cysts over 3 cm, EUS or MRCP are recommended every 6 months for 3 years and then yearly for 4 years [ 10 ].
