Nonetheless, it is perhaps the least well-known. Two other types exist and these are more often featured in folklore: Pathological and cursed lycanthropy.

Abilities. A character who becomes a lycanthrope retains his or her statistics. After the lycanthrope accepts the curse, the character gains the following in all forms: Vulnerability to Silver, Natural Weapons, Shapeshifter, and Lycan Traits. Vulnerability to Silver: While Transformed, silvered Weapons deal double damage to you.
If the character embraces the curse, his or her alignment becomes the one defined for the lycanthrope. However, on p. 206, it states: By resisting the curse, a lycanthrope retains its normal alignment and personality while in humanoid form.
