Here I explore some of the options one might want to consider when making lycanthropic NPCs and allowing lycanthro-pic PCs. Furthermore, I introduce two new feats that allow character progression for those that have the curse inflicted, but instead of curing it, embrace it.
19 paź 2016 · Doing so requires attacking with the Tusks, which can inflict the lycanthropy curse – and if a PC gets the lycanthropy curse, they immediately become immune to the Wereboar’s attacks! The Wereboar is better off never using its Charge & Tusks.
Lycanthropic PC? Gamemastery. So reading through Monster Manual it tells me I can make any creature a lycanthrope, all I need to do is add a flat amount of HP and add silver vulnerability. This is alot better than in DnD where lycanthropes have full immunity to non-silvered and non-magical attacks.
You'll have to decide what you want to do for your table, but in actual play lycanthropy is easily cured (belladonna is 100g per dose, and three or four doses should be enough for anyone), and is often actually a desired template. As a sidebar, there are a few things specific to lycanthropes.
4 sty 2024 · Within the Monster Manual’s section on lycanthropes, there is a subsection detailing how humanoid player characters can become afflicted with a lycanthropic curse, as well as its effects on such a character.
If the target creature is a humanoid, they must pass a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or become afflicted with the curse of lycanthropy. A creature does not know for certain if they have been afflicted until the next full moon.
