We liked the HelloBello diapers, they’re very soft but they are on the narrow side so we had to size up. Our tried and true are the Kirkland brand diapers which are made by the same factory as the Huggies and are essentially the same diaper at a cheaper price.
kekecatmeow. • 2 yr. ago. We narrowed it down between Dyper and Coterie. Coterie is now a few dollars cheaper for a month’s supply $85 vs $89 I believe) so I think that’s what we’re going to stick with. Plus, their wipes are super luxe. We enjoyed both, they’re both very absorbent.
Every baby is different and the brands will work differently. Best way is to unfortunately try yourself. Our favorite are Kirkland and Huggies swaddlers. We hated pampers, (different varieties). We’ve used pampers swaddlers, Huggies little snugglers, costco, and 7th generation. Minor preference for pampers because of fast absorbency and fit for our baby (narrower crotch, thunder thighs). Huggies are a little wide so they bunch in the crotch and LO sometimes complains.
The babies r us diapers are awful, worst ones I've ever used. The Target brand were good, they ran a bit bigger than the other brands, I used them in between size 1 and 2. The tabs didn't work as well on them however, and a few popped off, making a mess.
Diaper Dabbler has sample packs of three that we bought and the small packs (~$5) afterwards to try out the brands we liked for longer. We had shit luck with disposables each after a handful of uses. Probably because our baby is tall for his weight but sometimes it's bizarre what has happened.
