1. (Luke 10:38-40) Martha’s appeal to Jesus. Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word.
The chapter is structured around three main narratives: the sending out of the seventy-two, the parable of the Good Samaritan, and the account of Mary and Martha. Each section contributes to a holistic understanding of discipleship, love, and priorities in the Kingdom of God.

The first appears in Mark 1:41, where He, "moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched [a leper], and said to him, 'I am willing; be cleansed.'". Another time, recorded in Luke 7:13, He feels compassion for a widow who had just lost her only son, and He raises him from the dead.
10 lip 2016 · At the conclusion of the parable, Jesus asks, “Which of these three seems to you to have been a neighbor of the one who fell into (the hands of) the robbers?” (Luke 10:36). The lawyer responds by saying, “The one who had mercy on him ” (10:37).
First, We are to propose peace to all, to preach peace by Jesus Christ, to proclaim the gospel of peace, the covenant of peace, peace on earth, and to invite the children of men to come and take the benefit of it. Secondly, We are to pray for peace to all.
