Additional comments: This is a great fee dig site and the thundereggs from this location are well worth the visit. I suggest camping in the area and showing up in the morning when they open up. Also it’s worth it to try and go for bigger eggs it seems.

This review is actually of the Lucky Strike Mine gift Shop and Museum which is located right in Mitchell, Oregon on Route 26. The actual mine is some 35 miles away. The place is owned by Leonard Kopcinski's widow Cindy. There are tons of Thunder Eggs there for sale both cut one's and uncut.
