20 kwi 2008 · I think the Lowrance Geeks created GDM6 so you couldn't say there is no free support. Then they screwed it around to no one would want to use it and go ahead and buy MC which used to come with units.
21 maj 2008 · I have MC6 but never use it. I use Google Earth to view waypoints on PC and GPSBabel to convert waypoint files between Lowrance & Google Earth. You can create/change waypoints on Google Earth then convert them to Lowrance and load them on your GPS.
I have updated the Elite5 software to the latest Version3.6, Saved the data from the Elite5 to the SD card in version 2 format, Tried two different 2Gb cards (Kingston and Sandisk), installed the software on two different computers running vista and xp and didley squat.
14 cze 2010 · I've tried Lowrance GDM6, GPSBabel and my version of OZIExplorer but none can read the .USR file. Is there any way to open this and view on my pc ? I found this for me to use, but I am still installing my HDS, so I havent tried it yet. It does say HDS's are supported. Thanks for the suggestion mate - i just installed it and got the following error.
