When I was an overnight stocker it was 8-7, but they'd usually let us take a 30 minute lunch and leave at 630. Overnight stocker here, we work 8pm-7am 4 days a week with an hour lunch and an alternate team that works the 4 days with one joint day on saturdays. 7:30pm to 6am.
The only restrictions on the employer are the length of break that is unpaid, and that you are not required to stay at a work station during the meal break. So if you are able to go sit in a break room and the meal break is uninterrupted by work then they are not required to pay you for your meal break.
