A Hebrew keyboard (Hebrew: מקלדת עברית, romanized: mikledet ivrit) comes in two different keyboard layouts. Most Hebrew keyboards are bilingual, with Latin characters, usually in a US Qwerty layout.
Apparently, since 2018 there are two official Hebrew keyboard layouts. One (1452-1) is the normal one that we all know (ו next to ן), the other one (1452-2) is an alternative one, not meant to be replacing 1452-1, but rather being an option alongside it. See: http://mikladot.com/.

The best method for typing in Hebrew is to add the Hebrew keyboard to your computer. This will allow you to type in Hebrew from right to left. With the Hebrew keyboard you can use various styles of fonts, much the same way you do with the English keyboard.
Use of these layouts for Hebrew and Yiddish is an awful kludge. The first part is simple. At the bottom on your screen you'll see a small logo that indicates language: EN for English, HE for Hebrew. Use your mouse to change to Hebrew mode. In Hebrew mode the unshift keyboard has all of the old Hebrew typewriter keys.
