For anyone else searching for MySpace music in the future, The Internet Archive obtained a collection of ~450,000 songs a research project scraped from MySpace between 2008 and 2010, that project is called The Dragon's Hoard and there's a tool to search it called The Hobbit.
1 lip 2020 · In 2018, MySpace accidentally deleted the 50 million songs during a serve mitigation project. Along with music, potentially millions of photos and videos uploaded by users were lost as well.
1 gru 2020 · In April 2019, 490,000 mp3 files from Myspace were uploaded to the Internet Archive, in a collection known as The Myspace Dragon Hoard. The files included were uploaded between 2008 and 2010, and were downloaded as part of an academic study into music networks.

Not all tracks from the period have been archived, but a quick search brings up plenty of gems that would otherwise have been lost.
