13 maj 2010 · I'm considering purchasing a Lopi Answer stove to heat a 1300 sq ft ranch style home. Anyone here have any poor experiences with this stove. I realizee the stove has only a 1.6 cu foot firebox - Will I get sick of constantly tending the fire?
We have a Lopi Liberty (2008 or 09) when we pull the air control out, it will close the air down but not all the way because of the EPA standards. If you have a Lopi dealer near you, take the information off the back of the stove and bring it in and they can help you.
Not who you replied to, but I had this exact model installed in September, and it was about $8k all-in. That included hiring an electrician to install the wiring kit, getting an old gas line capped off, and buying a hearth extension. $7k definitely sounds fair for an all-in price.
