The rainbow trout daily bag limit is 5 fish with only 1 fish greater than 16″ allowed daily. Other angling opportunity within easy access from Keller Park SRA include Long Pine SRA, Long Pine WMA, and Pine Glen WMA all on Long Pine Creek which offers very good angling for brown and rainbow trout.
One of Nebraska's best trout streams, Long Pine Creek has about 20 miles of trout-supporting water. Both brown and rainbow trout naturally reproduce in the creek's abundant gravel beds. The creek's middle section from Seven Springs to Camp Witness, a church camp, provides the best habitat and the most fish; larger fish are more common downstream.
