You may update your current application’s semester of enrollment, program of admission, or academic level of entry by completing the Graduate Application Update Form. If you have been denied or deferred decision and wish to be reconsidered, please also submit this form.
You must request an OPT I-20 from the Office of International Education before starting your application to USCIS. Submit the four forms/documents below and a printed copy of the email receipt showing payment of the Management and Processing fee (see instructions below) to international@uta.edu .
Submit the Documentation of Status Change form along with proof of your new status using the 'Document of Status Change eForm in GlobalMavs' button provided below. Please allow up to 7 business days for processing.
The Office of International Education can assist with change of status to F-1 and F-2. OIE will assist you with preparing your application. You will be required to submit the completed application packet to USCIS. Processing times are subject to USCIS workload.
Check the current status of your application, view your admission decision, and view any missing documents, to-do list items or holds. Log in to MyMav, your student portal. Enter your NetID and password. All your student credentials are emailed to you 1-3 business days after applying to UTA.
All students on OPT are required to report updated Employer Information in a timely manner. Students on 12 month OPT are responsible for reporting employment information directly in the SEVP Student Portal.
