I recently contacted 134 about their application cycle and process, so I figured I’d do a short write up on what I know in case any future applicants are looking for the same info. 134 seems to hire quarterly, they did prior to the pandemic and it looks like they’re continuing that process.
The first trip is to provide your documents, receive the paper application, and have them explain the application process. The second trip is to return the paper application (there is no electronic version available, nor will they let you email it in).
Local 134 application. I applied to local 134 at the end of January and haven’t received my aptitude test date in the mail. Not sure if this is something I should be worried about since this is my first time applying to the IBEW.
