3 sty 2012 · newbie here. been reading through the forums about Op-amp ugrades and i had my first try a couple of days ago. i used LM4562 as the upgrade. i have an old 2-way active crossover lying around, when i opened it up i found 10 op-amps:
10 paź 2020 · For me its clear evidence that LM4562 is a very good op amp. I have also tried opa1642, 1612 and 2134, but they are all slightly inferior to lm4562 soundwise in Aiyima a04.
The LM4562 is designed for high slew rate, low noise and high output for systems needing +/-2.5 to +/-17V functionality. The pin out is the TI standard to quickly upgrade existing boards. This series is for applications such as high quality audio amplification, multi-media, imaging, line drivers/receivers and active filters.
25 gru 2015 · The DIP version of the LM4562 is getting phased out, as are many other DIP op amps from TI. There is a thread on DIYaudio that discusses some alternatives: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/parts...-many-ics.html. If you could use an SOIC package, the OPA1662 is the latest in the Burr-Brown SoundPlus series.

17 mar 2009 · I just found out that you can get LM4562 Op Amps for free from National Semiconductor. This is pretty cool, and I've always wanted to get into DIY audio in a bigger way than I already am (past experience limited to DIY cables and DIY speakers and such... no real circuitry to speak of)
