As an authorized user of the Indiana Gateway for Government Units, you will have a User Name and password to access the Gateway program. Your User Name is the e-mail address on file with DLGF and/or SBOA.

Pursuant to IC 5-11-1-9, every entity that the SBOA is required to perform some type of engagement, inquiry is to be made as to whether the units comply with the laws of the State of Indiana.
The Indiana Gateway for Government Units provides a central portal for local governments to submit forms to the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance and the State Board of Accounts. It is maintained by the Indiana Business Research Center as part of the Information for Indiana Initiative.
Guided by a commitment to transparency for Indiana taxpayers, the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF), the State Board of Accounts (SBOA), and the Indiana Business Research Center (IBRC) launched a new data reporting system for local governments in 2011.
Gateway was designed and implemented by the Indiana Business Research Center (IBRC) at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business with extensive input and guidance from the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF) and the State Board of Accounts (SBOA).
