Have come here many times, before and after Hurricane Sandy for walks and photographs. It's our favorite park in Ocean County. Several trails are available. Love to come see the Osprey, heron and egrets. We have seen some wonderful sunsets bayside. The bugs can be bad in the summer, so we enjoy spring and fall walks.

Cattus Island Park is 530 acres nestled between Silver Bay and Barnegat Bay and has 7 miles of trails. I walked the main trail which is a dirt and gravel path down to an isolated beach overlooking Silver Bay. The view walking this path was so beautiful as was walking on the boardwalk path.
