The Litchfield Park District was established in 1944 to help fulfill the dreams of the City fathers in providing more adequate park and swimming facilities. With the help of many of the town’s citizens, the mission of the Park District has become successful.
Litchfield Recreation. The Pride of Litchfield's recreational development is Lake Lou Yaeger, a 1,500-acre lake and 500 acre park.
