3 lip 2019 · Hi guys, my HX Effects has been a game-changer for me. That said, I do find the manual lacking in just one area: explaining some of the not-so-obvious parameters (for example: "ramp"). I have a sense for what they control, but it's not entirely clear to me - either mentally or audibly. :)

With a clean patch (no modules), just a Tele in to the HX and out to the Deluxe Reverb, both at low volumes - it does it. Also does it with my acoustic to the PA.
As a stand‑alone multi‑effects unit or as a rig control centre, then, the HX Effects ticks all the right boxes, delivering a generous effects count at a very realistic price. Alternatives The Boss MS‑3 is probably the most cost‑effective alternative, and it has a slightly smaller footprint.
