If I remember correctly, Fox was going to hold the 3rd season for midseason, then this one show they were pushing to be a monster hit, Lone Star, tanked really hard, very early into the new fall season. Fox needed a replacement, Lie to Me was on the bench, so they just threw it back on, with little promotion or anything.
After three seasons, Fox has cancelled Lie to Me. Starring Tim Roth, Lie to Me revolves around Cal Lightman and members of The Lightman Group. They're a team of specialists who help law enforcement agencies uncover the truth by using applied psychology.
About to finish watching the 3rd & last seasons of 'Lie to Me'. The last season was not as good as the first one but still it was a pretty awesome show. Too bad it was cancelled.
I liked the show at first, but after a certain point it seemed like the main character was infallible. It reminded me a bit of House and what I liked about House was that there were times that he made mistakes.
