25 mar 2017 · I've gotten a bit skittish about buying LG TVs online after contacting scammers on Amazon.com, also allegedly selling LG OLED 4K 3D TVs, where they try to use email to redirect you to what may be a phony Amazon site and insist the item be bought using gift cards.
A phishing email pretending to be from eBay typically contains a link that takes you to a fake website. There, you’ll be asked to sign in and submit personal and account information. These emails often include the eBay logo and a fake eBay address in the “From” line.
Would an ebay or paypal receipt from this store qualify for the LG OLED TV manufacturer warranty? Is a receipt even required to use the manufacturer waranty?

I bought mine from ebay, $3300 AU with a 24hour special discount code they had authorised LG retailer as well. In store it was $4700 on special or something at the time so I jumped on it, no regrets had the TV for a week so far no issues at all.
