25 mar 2017 · I've gotten a bit skittish about buying LG TVs online after contacting scammers on Amazon.com, also allegedly selling LG OLED 4K 3D TVs, where they try to use email to redirect you to what may be a phony Amazon site and insist the item be bought using gift cards.
I purchased a brand new TV that was dead on arrival from Ebay. LG would not honor it's manufacturer's warranty. Samsung however did. I might purchase from Everyday Fulfillment KC https://www.ebay.com/str/dotcomsales3 .
22 sty 2017 · The real issue is if LG will honor their warranty if sold by someone not sanctioned by LG to sell their tv's.
Cheaper and, as noted already, they’re an authorized reseller, so you are safe on the warranty. I just got my C8 from firstclasstvs via eBay in the beginning of October. Tv is great and I got it in a week which surprised me. As long as the seller has universally positive reviews I say go for it.
