I did a warranty claim and got a panel replacement on my 65" LG OLED in Canada in Fall 2020. Same experience as LekoZG's post - overall very happy with the new panel.
10 kwi 2021 · Samsung has been resolutely anti-OLED for years now, actively campaigning against the tech in an attempt to put consumers off the LG-manufactured TV technology and persuade them to buy a QLED instead.
Just curious because I have seen so many people post about having their OLED panel failed in short period of time after owning them. Am I being too paranoid or LG just has bad quality control?
18 mar 2024 · LG’s switch from IPS to VA panels comes on the heels of another purported panel lottery out of Samsung’s 2024 TV lineup, which could see several OLED TVs sporting either WOLED or QD-OLED panels.
Unfortunately the specialists rejected my request because I called 7 days too late. You see, the complimentary panel replacement is only good for 3 years after your 1-year warranty expires, and I had called 4 years and 7 days after purchase.
