6 sie 2022 · With SDR film and TV content, the LG 42C2 is excellent; with superb black levels, accurate colour reproduction with lifelike skin tones adding realism to faces, and very good motion from 24fps material with no induced judder or added motion blur not present in the content.
Using 4:4:4 chroma, text clarity is very acceptable on PC or Mac. Using the Cinema HDR and Tone Mapping turned ON (OLED light: 100, Contrast: 100, all other image processing features turned off) the panels is significantly brighter than the 48CX and very slightly brighter than 55C1 (with EVO panel) when compared side by side.
