But as of writing now, G-Sync only works solid when set to activate in full screen mode and not always enabled in the Nvidia settings. A lot of the programs has a faint flicker when G-sync is active, in windowed mode. Also adjusting the video and desktop color settings in Nvidia really helped.
You're right, we can use Limited / Low and if the content is true HDR, it will show correctly same as Full + High, but if it's SDR converted to HDR, it will look with raised blacks on Desktop (not on games with true HDR though).
