I am starting to become infuriated with the hugely inconsistent HDR experience with my LG C2 42” TV. SDR content looks GREAT. However, there seems to be a lot of people gaslighting saying things like “oh that show is supposed to be dark” when it is literally unwatchably dark, even in a pitch black room.
12 paź 2022 · It may not sound amazing, but the LG OLED42C2 is still the best 42-inch TV there’s ever been. Partly that’s because it’s the first OLED of its size, but even against Sony’s new XR-42A90K it’s the more satisfying performer overall, particularly thanks to its fabulous contrast, colours and punch.
6 sie 2022 · We are reviewing the 42-inch model of the LG C2 in this review and as such, the picture performance will be similar to the 48-inch model, but different to the 55-inch and above versions as those larger sizes have the 2022 Evo panel and α9 Gen 5 AI processor with Brightness Booster.
So, if you get the 48' at least you can use it as a relatively large TV if it doesn't work for you as a gaming monitor - but if you get the 42' and it's too small to be your main TV and too big to be your main gaming monitor - then you might be in trouble.
sometimes the lg oled tv have trouble using 10 or above bpc, which causes the tv screen to go black. just in case, on windows display settings -> advance display settings -> under "refresh rates", set it to 119.998hz for 120hz for the tv which is label as "LG TV SSCR2".
13 wrz 2024 · The 42-inch LG C4 is the best small OLED TV money can buy right now. Though its audio isn't the best, it delivers a wonderfully punchy, immersive viewing experience despite its small form factor, with noticeably higher peak brightness than its older rivals.
