I have been experimenting with my TH5 and TH6 alt bases the past few weeks and have found a 3 star consistent attack strategy at this level which can even 3 star TH7's if done correctly! Veteran players may / may not already do this, but this strategy guide is great for newer players!

Best TH4-TH8 attack strategy: all loons with rage. Bases are small enough that you can cover most of area with spells, only 2/3 air defences, on Xbows/inferno/eagle, no queen (which isn't targeted by loons).

My most recent TH5/6 farming strategy was mass goblins, with my main feeding me CC hogs or loons. Use goblins to distract, use CC troops to destroy all the defenses, profit. If it turns out there are enemy CC troops, just surrender; there are lots of good bases out there in silver.
