15 lis 2023 · Built a king size bed three years ago, used these: Antrader Wood Bed Rail Connecting Fittings, 5 Inch Zinc Round Bed Hook, Set of 4 from Amazoo. Similar if not identical to the Lee Valley you linked. Fit perfectly in a 3/4" mortise, so far zero issues.
These metal bedlocks provide a flexible and secure method of attaching bed rails to headboards and footboards. Slipped into a 3/8" mortise, they are virtually invisible, and the integral formed pins can't ever fall out. The 3 3/4" high regular bedlocks fasten to the bedpost parallel to the mortise.
