In 1918, Lee School at 1920 South Cincinnati Avenue, and Pershing School at 1903 West Easton Street in the Owen Park Neighborhood were constructed. To finance further growth, Tulsa’s first $1,000,000 bond proposal for education was passed in May of 1919.
