20 sie 2009 · This Code constitutes a republication of the general and permanent ordinances of the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri. Source materials used in the preparation of the republication were the 1988 Code, as updated through Ordinance No. 6821, adopted August 20, 2009.
In addition to all other powers herein granted, the City of Lee's Summit shall have the right and authority to administer and enforce all its municipal ordinances within all areas owned or occupied by the city which are outside of the corporate city limits.
On January 8, 2019, the Lee's Summit City Council adopted new building code regulations (Ordinance #8536) and a new fire code (Ordinance #8537). These ordinances adopt provisions from the following nationally published construction codes: 2018 International Building Code; 2018 International Plumbing Code; 2018 International Mechanical Code
