I am needing to find a portable way to store my collection which lead me to binders. There seems to be mixed reviews out there. My biggest concern is that I’ve read that some people who use binders, that the plastic leaves a film on the discs. Has anyone had this problem?
The best/sturdiest ones we've found, where the pages were fused into the spine and the zipper was good, were sold by half price books under their name, but they don't seem to be making them anymore. Well- you can still get the very large capacity ones, but they have the metal rings and so are ruled out.

I was able to throw away an entire shelf dedicated to my DVDs and put all the discs in a few big binders. Something I did that you might consider is making an excel spreadsheet of all your movies. On each row I have columns for Title, Year Released, Genre 1, Genre 2, and the location of the DVD (Ex. Binder 1, Space 20).
