The curriculum is theme based with emphasis on developing the language, numeracy, cognitive, socio emotional and motor skills. The learning will be fun filled, activity based and learner centered, strongly influenced by an understanding of early childhood learning.
Learning Portal. The KED Program provides all material for teaching and learning on a web-based portal. The Learning Portal contains the curricula, work paths, exercises, texts and other resources for all steps and theme courses.
From the portal, students retrieve the learning resources for each subject. Teachers also collaborate nationwide to develop the content for every curriculum topic. With the Learning Portal serving as the hub, teaching material from one KED school can be easily shared with another in the network.
