The LCK 2024 Summer Season is the second split of the fourth year of Koreas professional League of Legends league under partnership. Ten teams compete in a round robin group stage.
The LCK 2024 Summer Playoffs is the second split of the fourth year of Koreas professional League of Legends league under partnership. The top six teams from Summer compete for prize money and Championship Points. The winner earns the title of Summer Champion and qualifies for the 2024 Season World Championship.
1st placed team from group stage can choose either one of the Round 1 winners as their opponent for Round 2. All matches are Bo5. Winner qualifies for Worlds 2024.
8 wrz 2024 · In the LCK Summer 2024, only the top six out of the 10 franchised esports organizations qualify for the playoffs. The seeding for the playoffs depends on their placement in the regular season. The playoffs follow a double-elimination bracket format, beginning from round 2.
The format was determined since MSI 2024 Champion Gen.G Esports secured the second seed of LCK. Two teams with higher points begin in the Upper Bracket, the other two in the Lower Bracket. Winner of Upper Bracket qualifies for the Swiss Stage as the third seed of LCK.
