Fronted by Layla Brooklyn Allman(Brooklyn Allman), the daughter of the legendary Gregg Allman of the Allman Brothers; Picture Me broken stands, as of now, more of an up and coming band.
The original lineup included Layla Brooklyn Allman, Nick Loiacono, Austin Dunn, and Eric Perkins. Perkins was replaced with Connor Lung so he could focus on his schoolwork. Will Escher was added as rhythm guitar player for the band, but soon left to attend college.
“Mannequins” awarded me for my determination with a nice guitar riff and some growling vocals that change the music scenery in favor of a more Metal sound. Layla Allman does also a great work in the harsh vocals and steps away for a moment from the pink-ish stereotype of modern Rock singers.
Picture Me Broken was formed in 2005 [4] by Layla Brooklyn Allman, [5] lead singer and keyboardist, and bassist, Austin Dunn. The band was originally called 'Lane Four' with 'Lane' reflecting the first initial of the original four band members (Layla, Austin, Nick, and Eric).
The 24-year-old Layla is the daughter of Shelby Blackburn and Gregg, and is the singer with the band Picture Me Broken, who won an MTV Video Music Award for Best Breakout Bay Area Artist. The band has opened for Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson.
