Lauren Anne Utter was a contestant on cycle 10 of ANTM in 2008, where she was the ninth girl eliminated and placed sixth. She later competed in the spin-off series Modelville, where she quit in fifth place. Lauren was known as a punk girl at castings who seemed to have no model potential.
Photographically, Lauren is so stunning and completely photogenic. I don't know how she would do at casting though, she's just so uncomfortable in her own skin and kind of defensive. I prefer quirky people in general and still find her a lot to deal with. Plus, then she has to walk in the door, which isn't going to go well.
Let's not lie to ourselves, Lauren was wasting everyone's time as the whole cycle went on. However, iirc Jaslene made an appearance on episode 3 or 4, and Lauren was still trying to figure out how to walk well and her photos up to this point weren't that bad!
About
The tenth cycle of America's Next Top Model was the fourth season of the series to be aired on The CW network. The promotional catchphrase of the cycle is "New Faces, New Attitude, New York". The promotional song was "Feedback" by Janet Jackson. A few major changes were made this season.
Lauren Utter was a 22-year-old artist from Brooklyn, New York. Standing 6’0″ tall, Lauren was Cycle 10‘s tallest contestant. Lauren seemed uncomfortable and awkward in her modeling skin at the beginning of the competition, but began becoming more confident, leading her to progress as a contestant.
What I will say about cycle 10 is that it’s actually one of the stronger seasons; there is a strong cast of modelesque women and some gorgeous photoshoots (paint, Fuerza Bruta, music, castle, Italian movie star).
