Archive.org is the best source for free resources. Many of the authoritative Latin books are public domain but plenty of things that aren't out of copyright yet are on there too. I really like J C McKeown's textbook 'Classical Latin'. It's only a few years old and is pretty well rounded.
By chapter 3-6 you will probably want to watch a YouTube series or read some good pages on at least Latin cases and declensions.
