This article explains how to use the biblatex package, to manage and format the bibliography in a LaTeX document. biblatex is a modern option for processing bibliography information, provides an easier and more flexible interface and a better language localization than the other two options.

To create a .bib file from scratch, the simplest is to use JabRef, a multiplatform bibliography manager written in java. You only have to choose the type of entries you want to cite (article, book, conference &c.), fill in forms for the relevant fields.
Generate a bibliography with BibTeX and BibLaTeX. First define a .bib file using: \bibliography {BIB_FILE_NAME} (do not add .bib) For BibTeX put the \bibliography statement in your document, for BibLaTeX in the preamble. BibTeX uses the \bibliographystyle command to set the citation style.
5 cze 2023 · Empty bibliography: Did you cite something in the document (search for \cite or similar words)? Otherwise, LaTeX will not generate a bibliography in the PDF. Solutions: Use \nocite{*} to list all entries in the bibliography, without regard to whether they are cited or not. Or simply: Cite something.
30 mar 2016 · I want to generate the reference file in a separate PDF output. I can either run the standalone Example.bbl file as input or add the code as suggested below. I want to get the an additional PDF file for example Reference.pdf as an output each time.
