PC: Press Function (Fn) + Video Output (usually F4) key and your laptop LCD should now turn black and the output will display on TV. Now, some laptops have option to display the screen on both the laptop LCD and the TV (dual screen) so you need to press Video Output key twice while holding the Function (Fn) key to toggle.
If you have a video card remove it from system and plug video back to stock onboard video. When the pc first starts up can you see the ASUS "splash screen" . If you cannot see the asus splash screen after trying the above methods it is safe to assume your motherboards onboard video has gone out.

The most convenient way in my opinion is getting a PCI or PCI-e card from the 2000s that has S-Video output. For example any Radeon HDs around the 2000-4000 series (i.e. Radeon HD 2400). If your TV doesn't have S-Video then use an S-Video to composite adapter.
13 gru 2021 · You can connect either extra screen via USB C cable or an HDMI plus USB for power. The latter one works fine, but I can't get the USB C connection working at all. In the course of doing research, this article states that the USB C needs to explicitly support video output.
