17 kwi 2021 · When we got home, I tried a few more troubleshooting steps that were recommended to me and didn’t see any change. After much Internet searching, I discovered that when you plug an HDMI display into the iPad Pro, an extra option appears in Displays & Brightness for the display.
Your Apple display automatically turns on when you plug it into power and connect it to your iPad (supported models) using the Thunderbolt cable included with the display. Your iPad charges while connected to the display.
4 lis 2022 · As described, your laptop may be unable to provide sufficient power to charge your iPad. Most models of iPad require a USB power source rated at 12W (i.e., 2.4A @5V) or greater to reliably charge. 5W Power Adapters intended for older models of iPhone are inadequate to charge an iPad; if the iPad charges at all, charging will be very slow.
I have an iPad Pro 11" (2021) which I can't for the love of me connect to any HDMI display. I've tried two different USB-C->HDMI connectors (both work on my MBA M1 just fine) and several different displays (TV, monitors, projectors...), but all I get is... nothing.
22 wrz 2023 · ipad hdmi issues iOS 14.4 After updating iPad Air 4th gen, iPad 5th gen and iPhone X to iOS 14.4, I am unable to use HDMI to view video or hear audio on external monitors and TVs. External monitor has external speaker and worked prior to update.

How did you get it running full screen? On my 11 inch ipad pro I get black bars on the top and bottom, probably because the game is running 16:9 and the ipad’s aspect ratio is different.
