15 maj 2022 · As of 12:00 pm on March 15, Vietnam suspended all visas and will deny entry to travelers from the UK and the 26 Schengen countries; this includes travelers that have visited or transited through these countries in the past 14 days.
The Ministry of Health has officially issued the long-awaited COVID-19 protocols for foreign arrivals in Vietnam. The regulations state that visitors with negative COVID tests can enjoy quarantine-free travel from day one. Accordingly, travelers entering Vietnam via air routes have to present proof of negative SARS-CoV-2 tests.
All travelers boarding a flight to Viet Nam are required to show a negative SARS-CoV-2 test result (except those aged 2 years and under) obtained within 72 hours before travel if using the RT-PCR/RT-LAMP test, or within 24 hours before travel if using the SARS-CoV-2 rapid antigen test.
18 lut 2022 · The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued new guidelines Thursday in welcoming back foreign arrivals, effective from now until March 15, which allowed foreign tourists and overseas Vietnamese to arrive in Vietnam on regular commercial flights, instead of only charter flights.
Vietnam officially reopened its inbound tourism on 15th March 2022 after nearly two years of closure. Two months later (on 15th May 2022), Vietnam also removed the pre-entry Covid-19 testing requirements for all arrivals as per a recent government’s Official Dispatch No. 416/CD-TTg.
14 maj 2021 · Visa exemptions and temporary bans. From March 22, 2020 until further notice, Vietnam has temporarily suspended entry for all foreign nationals. Vietnam will not be issuing visas or allowing entry to any travellers at this time, including those who already hold visas or visa exemptions.
