So he priced out the Bush Hog and said the Land Pride RCR26 and RCF27 series will be a little cheaper ($100-$200). I have only heard good things about Land Pride but there are not many of their rotary cutters around here let alone in vineyards.

5 paź 2013 · I am thinking about buying a new 6' rotary cutter medium duty for bush hogging old pasture and mowing down small bushes and up to 2" trees. What brands/quality are out there and which would be the best bang for my buck?
Land Pride is a very reputable brand for rotary cutters. They have a great selection to choose from within a variety of tiered price ranges. Even Land Pride’s very lowest priced models are still really good implements, as long as you use them within their stated limits.
23 wrz 2018 · Bush Hog and Woods are considered by most to be the gold standard of rotary cutters, and are most commonly used by professional highway mowing firms. I have Woods BB720X and BB840X cutters. I once owned a Woods MDS1260 mounted 10.5' cutter but sold it recently because it was not well suited to my needs.
The RCR18 is classified by Land Pride as a “lightweight” implement, whereas the RCR12 is tagged with their even lighter “economical” classification. This is very misleading. For example, the “Bush Hog” brand of rotary cutters classifies their 1″ cutter (BH110) as “light duty”.

15 kwi 2002 · I am presently evaluating a Bush Hog Squealer 60” rotary mower as well as a Land Pride 18 series version. Both have slip clutches. I will be using on a Kubota B7800 on frequently mowed pasture grass. The Bush Hog is about $200 less expensive. Roughly $1300 vs $1100.
