5 paź 2021 · I'm trying to find a way to edit the date format on an embedded XML field on a Word Template. The example is a Purchase Order but same conditions for several other Word Template documents. I have tried inserting a Date Picker Control from the Developer tab and the Design Mode controls but this is not allowed.
5 gru 2017 · Assign the date to a variable (technically, a “bookmark”) called the_date. Change the last word to createdate, printdate, or savedate if that’s what you want. Get the day number of the_date (e.g., “Dec 5” → 5) and assign it to the variable day.

3 maj 2013 · You can go through Insert > Quick Parts > Field, but it's quicker just to press Ctrl+F9 to make a field and type the word CREATEDATE inside it. In the template itself (opened for editing as if it was a document), the field will show the date the template was created.
