It doesn’t have the same national/international name recognition as NYU/USC/UCLA, but it’s a top 10 film school that is less competitive to get into, and its name holds decent weight in LA. It also has a really strong alumni network.
LA Film School is not good. It accepts anyone who can pay their exorbitant tuition, then uses that tuition money not on your education but to recruit new students (something accredited schools are not allowed to do).
21 lip 2024 · LA film school is a huge scam. I’m a senior and barely know anything. Everything course is poorly put together and I’m no where near the skill level I should be at. I’m so frustrated that I’ve wasted so much time and money here. The department head Ken Norman is crap and never ever responds to emails or anything.
