The Kyoto Tachibana SHS Band (brass band), known as the Orange Devils, have participated in the All Japan Marching Contest many times, and have won several gold prizes. They have also been invited to the Rose Parade in the United States several times.
Tachibana has been participating since 2021, and they use this opportunity to travel to the remote island of Kyūshū also to meet their great friends at the Seika Girls’ Marching Band (another top high school band in Japan). Video below by Sound of Wind Band is on the 2023 Parade.
