16 maj 2020 · Well, the KTP-445U is the amp Alpine puts in its PSS-23WRA system (which also includes upgraded front dash speakers, and a subwoofer at a $1299 price tag). The PSS includes a harness for hooking that amp up to a JL, so all you have to do is order the harness to make it plug-n-play.
3 sty 2017 · There are a few compact 4 channel amps that fit in the channel under the glove box. I have the Alpine KTP-445A but there are others similarly sized. They have line level inputs and should not affect your steering wheel controls but you will have to cut/splice you factory head unit speaker outputs.
5 lut 2010 · First way is a bit cheaper, buy a 2 channel amp that puts out about 50 watts RMS at 2 ohms. Now you parallel wire each set of 2 speakers to 1 channel of your amp. This will draw a 2 ohm load from the 2, 4 ohm speakers. This is cheaper because 2 ch amps are cheaper than 4 ch amps.
