Mardi Gras makes its flamboyant entrance with the Twelfth Night Parade Extravaganza inside the Lake Charles Event Center Coliseum. There will be a lively, mini-parade featuring members of Krewe of Krewes under the direction of Mardi Gras of Southwest Louisiana. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the event begins at 7:00 p.m.
3 sty 2024 · Krewe of Omega Parade - Held in downtown Lake Charles on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 2 p.m. Krewe of Omega was formed to bring Mardi Gras activities to the black community. To this day, it is the only Southwest Louisiana krewe to hold its own parade.

On Tuesday, February 13, the City of Lake Charles will observe the Mardi Gras Holiday. Several events, including the Krewe of Krewes Parade, will be held in the City. The following is an overview of activities planned for the day: Second Line Stroll Walking Parade – 1 p.m. Jeeps on Parade – 2:30 p.m.
