To be clear: although you can add the games to Steam as non-Steam apps to enable launching them easily in game mode, you cannot download or access them directly through Steam itself without purchasing them through Steam. You need Epic client (or Heroic) just like you would on a desktop PC.
The only issue I have is to get epic games online services running on linux. Tried with both heroic as well as native Epic Games Launcher but I can't get it to work
29 kwi 2024 · Playing Epic games on the Steam Deck has always been a bit of work, but it is possible to do. You would need to go through the Epic Launcher in Desktop Mode and add it to Steam, or you could use the Heroic Launcher and add games directly to Steam, but it does still require you to go to Desktop Mode.
