Ko Gyon-Tek was born on August 14, 1913, in Jocheon-eup, Jeju City, Jeju Province, South Korea. His children are Ko Yong-hui, Ko Yong-suk, Ko Young-sook,and Ko Su-il. Ko-Gyon-Tek transferred to Osaka, Japan, and worked in a sewing factory. It was run by Go Deuk-jong, who was Japan’s ministry of war.
