9 sty 2020 · The Kiwi Design: Version 2 pulley system improves on the previous version in every way thanks to the redesign to allow almost silent operation due the rubberised mounts, cables and dampeners used to make everything whisper quietly.
I recommend the main/center pulley with a large "eye" because it will allow the cable to flow freely in and out and spin, otherwise if the hold is too tight the cable will begin to bind, twist, or loop. The two end pulleys will be responsible for pulling the excess through the large eye and back up toward the ceiling.
About a week ago I got my VR pulley system (Kiwi). I am still waiting for my HMD to come but already have my tripods for my base stations set up in my room. I had a few concerns about the pully system.
My play area is 3.6 Meters by 4.2 Meters, or 12 Foot by 15 Foot. After toying around with a 6 piece pulley kit from KIWI, I began playing around with placement and functionality. I found having two pulleys attached gave increased range of motion, while reducing drag or tension from the HMD.
